I am a contemporary multidisciplinary artist and therapeutic art practitioner who is inspired by my connection with the Australian bush and regional communities.
I embrace the relationships and stories woven within discarded and found treasures, breathing new life and purpose into them. My choice of medium is as diverse often leaning towards mixed media and textiles as a canvas for my experimentation.
My body of work encompasses a diverse range of mediums, including painting, printmaking, textiles, mixed media, and sculpture. My inspiration is a tapestry woven from the intricate beauty of the Australian bush, the intricate patterns of leaves, bark, and the earth, combined with the allure of old and discarded items. I marry these organic influences with my passion for fashion textiles, fabrics, threads, beads, and laces, forging a compelling juxtaposition in my art.
Beyond my creative pursuits, I also operate an Art Therapy business and manage an Art Gallery and Studio, where I share my artistry and seek to nurture the creative spirit of others.
